Yesterday was my 39th birthday, which means today is the first day of my 40th year! Okay, folks. Today is the day that I kick start the good life I'm supposed to be living.
My actual birthday was not a good day. School was closed because of the snow from a freak, fast-moving blizzard. My girls fought pretty much the entire day and I still have a knot on my head from where the oldest one threw a drumstick (not chicken).
So, birthday sucked. Life begins at 40. I'm starting my prep work. Stay tuned.
